Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 136749)
I transitioned into therapy after a career in education, corporate, and nonprofit sectors, where I witnessed the impact of trauma on individuals from all walks of life—from young people to executive leaders. My curiosity about trauma deepened during my first Master’s program, as I sought to understand how we can reconnect with our bodies to heal and recover from survival. How do we move toward life beyond hardship?
As a Black, queer, therapist in California; I’m committed to providing affirming care that supports people in all the ways they show up. Therapy is an act of activism—liberating ourselves through improved mental health is powerful, political work. Exploring our bodies and identities in the context of how we relate to the world and how the world relates to us is a brave, deeply human journey. I’m honored you’ve arrived here, ready to start or continue your healing process.
Approach & Practice
My approach is client-centered (what works for you), relational (how you connect and feel connected to others), and integrative (draws on various techniques). I especially support clients in exploring and identifying unhelpful patterns and behaviors, establishing boundaries, and identifying and navigating choice to find a sense of security in their lives.
I provide individual and couples therapy for California residents only at Pershing Square Therapy via Telehealth. Pershing Square Therapy is a trans-owned and operated group practice based in Los Angeles (Supervised by Alo Johnston #109429).

Certified Geek Therapist
As a Certified Geek Therapist, I specialize in supporting clients who connect with geek culture—whether you’re a fan of anime, video games, role-playing games, cosplay, films, TV shows, books, or all of the above. Therapy, much like the hero’s journey we see in these stories, is about transformation, overcoming challenges, and discovering your true self. If you’re someone who identifies with geek culture and is looking for mental health support that resonates with your interests, you’ve come to the right place.
I take a client-centered, integrative approach, combining evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a deep understanding of how geek culture shapes our experiences. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, social anxiety, stress, building connections, or relationship challenges, my goal is to guide you through your personal hero’s journey—helping you confront and overcome obstacles..
Through our work together, we’ll use the narratives, archetypes, and therapeutic themes as a way to explore your mental health and find healing. Therapy becomes a transformative experience where you not only navigate life’s struggles but also tap into your inner strength, just like the heroes (and villains) in the stories you love.
If you’re looking for a therapist for gamers, anime, book lovers, and film fans seeking therapy, or someone who understands the power of geek culture in navigating mental health, I’m here to walk with you through every step of your journey. Together, we’ll work toward healing, self-empowerment, and a deeper connection to yourself and others.
